1. Complete the China Online Visa Application Form at https://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn
2. Make an online appointment at https://avas.cs.mfa.gov.cn
3. Print and sign the Confirmation page and the completed COVA form. Apply IN PERSON at the visa office on the appointed date and time with the completed COVA form, the Confirmation page, passport, one copy of the information page and other necessary documentation. (Please click the category code of visa category list below for further information about necessary supporting documents)
4. Biometric information collection including fingerprinting is required.
5. Applications by post are unapplicable.
6. Interviews may be required by the consular officer.

You will be Instructed on payment as you finish your application.

Important notes :
(1) Applicants are kindly adviced to check all the information of the issued visa upon collection and if necessary raise queries. If there is no immediate query relating to the issued visa, the applicant is held responsible under any circumstances thereafter.
(2) Applicants are kindly adviced to apply 3 weeks in advance of the intended date of entry into China. Applicants will be held responsible for any consequences if they fail to submit at an appropriate time, which may lead to either the issued visa expired or it being too late to get a visa before the intended entry date.
