Starting from 01/07/2018, China Online Visa Application (COVA) system and Visa Reservation system (AVAS)will be applied for Chinese Visa application at the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Malta. Visa applications without online appointment will not be accepted.

1. Complete the China Online Visa Application Form at https://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn

2. Make online Appointment at https://avas.cs.mfa.gov.cn

3. Print and sign the Confirmation page and the completed COVA Form. Submit application on the Appointed date in person to the visa office of the Embassy with the completed COVA Form, the Confirmation Page, passport and other necessary documentation(Please refer to "How to apply for a Chinese Visa").
