The new China Online Visa Processing System will be officially launched by the Chinese Embassy in Malta on March 31, 2025. The website is: https://consular.mfa.gov.cn/VISA and the applicants could enjoy convenience of filling out the form and uploading materials online.

The original China Online Visa Application (COVA) weblink will be offline by the Chinese Embassy in Malta since April 7.

(Note: The ordinary passport holders of Malta is exempted from visa to enter China and stay for no more than thirty(30) days for the purposes of business, tourism, family visit, exchanges and transit until December 31st, 2025.
