On 2nd September 2022, H.E. Ambassador Yu Dunhai, Prime Minister Hon. Dr Robert Abela and Minister Hon. Dr Ian Borg visited the photo exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malta together.

Ambassador Yu introduced the pictures on display. He mentioned that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malta in 1972, no matter how the international situation evolved, China and Malta have always worked hand in hand through thick and thin, and have become old and good friends that withstand the test of time. China is ready to take the 50th Anniversary as an opportunity to join hands with Malta to create a brighter future for the friendship.

Prime Minister Robert Abela said that the photo exhibition on display showcases the closeness between Malta and China. He would like to thank the Chinese side for its efforts in the organization of this wonderful event.
