On 22nd September 2022, Ambassador Yu Dunhai met with Ms Daniela Zammit, Principal of St. Margaret College.

Ambassador Yu said that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malta. Recently, President Xi Jinping warmly replied letter to the teachers and students of the "China Corner", fully affirming their contribution to promoting cultural exchanges between China and Malta and encouraging them to continue to be promoters of mutual learning between the two civilizations and inheritors of friendship between the two peoples. It reflects the great importance that President Xi Jinping attaches to the friendship and young generation exchanges between China and Malta. 

Ambassador Yu thanked the College for supporting the “China Corner” and said that the Embassy stands ready to work with the College to strengthen educational and cultural cooperation, so as to constantly enrich China-Malta relations.

Principal Zammit said that Malta has friendly relations with China, and Maltese students are increasingly interested in Chinese. The College looks forward to strengthening educational cooperation with the Embassy.
