On November 30th 2022, H.E. Ambassador Yu Dunhai met with Mr Lin Hua, Chairman of Shanghai Electric Power Co.,Ltd (SEP). Also present was Mr Zhou Xuewen, the Economic and Commercial Counsellor.

Ambassador Yu said that the investment of SEP in Malta is a showcase of China-Malta mutual beneficial cooperation in the energy sector. It has produced both economic benefits and social benefits in the past years. Hope the two sides can further expand practical cooperation and achieve more win-win results in the green and low-carbon energy sector.

Mr Lin Hua said that the company attaches great importance to its investment in Malta, and will continue to strive for more win-win cooperation.
