On 20th April 2023, H.E. Ambassador Yu Dunhai was invited to deliver a Speech on China's Foreign Policy at The Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies(MEDAC). Professor Stephen Calleya, the director of MEDAC, and young diplomats, teacher and student representatives from nearly 10 countries in Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, South Asia and the Mediterranean region participated.

In his speech, Ambassador Yu introduced China's historical tradition of "harmony is invaluable",  national conditions of a developing country and great dream of national rejuvenation. Ambassador Yu said that as a responsible major country, China has always been a builder of world peace, a contributor to global development, a defender of international order, a provider of public goods, and a mediator of hotspot issues. China has taken practical actions to build a new type of international relations and a community with a shared future for mankind.

Ambassador Yu also expounded China's position on the Taiwan question, and answered questions from teachers and students on international and regional hotspot issues.
