On May 29, H.E. Ambassador Yu Dunhai paid a farewell courtesy call on Hon. Dr. Ian Borg, Minister for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade of Malta.

Ambassador Yu thanked Minister Ian Borg for his strong support during his tenure and said that over the past three years, China-Malta relations have maintained a strong development. Going forward, China stands ready to deepen traditional friendship and carry out more pratical cooperation with Malta to promote new progress in bilateral relations.

Minister Ian Borg spoke highly of the achievements made in Malta-China relations in recent years and appreciated Ambassador Yu's contribution to deepening bilateral relations during his tenure. Malta looks forward to expanding cooperation with China in various fields so as to deliver greater benefits to the people of the two countries.
