On June 15th 2023, H.E. Ambassador Yu Dunhai met with the Delegation of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Counsellor Zhou Xuewen participated.

Ambassador Yu said that traditional Chinese medicine has a strong reputation in Malta. Since launching the cooperation project in traditional Chinese medicine with the University of Malta in 2015, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine has supported and implemented a series of teaching, diagnosis and treatment, and cultural exchange activities in Malta, which not only further spread Chinese culture in Malta, but also played a positive role in promoting bilateral relations and people-to-people exchanges between China and Malta.

Mr Cao Xikang of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine said that the university was very pleased to see the good results of the cooperation project in Malta. The university is currently communicating with the Maltese side on further cooperation in teaching, treatment and research, and strives to achieve more fruitful results in the traditional Chinese medicine field.
