On 21 June, H.E. Ambassador Yu Dunhai met with Hon. Dr. Anton Refalo, Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries, and Animal Rights. They exchanged views on bilateral relations and cooperation on agriculture and fisheries.

Ambassador Yu said that China and Malta enjoy long-standing friendship. Since the establishment of the diplomatic ties more than 50 years ago, the two countries have respected and treated each other as equals. We understand and support each other's core concerns and keep promoting cooperation in various fields. Cooperation on agriculture and fisheries is a crucial part of bilateral relations. The two sides could continue to promote win-win cooperation on agriculture and fisheries.

Dr Refalo spoke highly of the long-lasting friendship between Malta and China. He said that Malta attaches great importance to Malta-China relations and is ready to enhance bilateral exchanges and cooperation on agriculture and fisheries.
