On February 26, 2026, the Chinese Embassy in Malta hosted“Living the China Vibes”cultural exchange activity. Over 50 participants from the Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies and the Confucius Institute of the University of Malta, and the China Cultural Centre attended.

Ambassador Zhang Zuo encouraged the young people to experience the Chinese life, learning about the Chinese philosophies and go for a China trip, to have a more authentic and objective view on the country.

During the activity, guests tried calligraphy, wore Hanfu (traditional clothing), tasted Chinese cuisine, and experienced "Chinese vibes." A variety of artistic performances, including a pipa solo, Sichuan opera face-changing, and a Hanfu show, were presented, drawing enthusiastic applause from the audience.
