Notice on Unilateral Visa Exemption Policy to China for Citizens of Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium and Luxembourg

To further promote people-to-people exchanges between China and foreign countries, from 0:00 (Beijing time) on March 14, 2024 to 24:00 (Beijing time) on November 30, 2024, the Chinese government will implement 15-day visa free policy for citizens of Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium and Luxembourg holding ordinary passports who enter China for business, tourism, family visit and transit purposes. Those travellers who do not meet the above mentioned purposes of visit and the time limit of 15-day are still required to apply for visas to China.

Visas which have been issued to citizens of these six countries are still valid. Visa applications that have been submitted before will be processed normally.
