On September 6, 2022, Ambassador Yu Dunhai attended the signing ceremony of the Mediterranean Regional Centre for Traditional Chinese Medicine and the National Alliance for Rare Diseases Support – Malta, witnessing the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on future cooperation between the two parties.

Ambassador Yu Dunhai extended his sincere congratulations to the Mediterranean Regional Centre for Traditional Chinese Medicine and the National Alliance for Rare Diseases Support – Malta. He said that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malta. Over the past 50 years, China-Malta cooperation has continued to expand in various fields. We hope to take this opportunity to further strengthen win-win cooperation in the medical field and bring tangible benefits to more patients and their families.

Michelle Muscat, president of the National Alliance for Rare Diseases Support – Malta, said that the two parties will further deepen communication and cooperation, better provide convenient, efficient and safe Chinese medical services to rare disease patients in Malta, and improve the quality of life of patients, and benefit more people.
