On 22 November 2023, Ambassador Yu Dunhai was invited to attend the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement of SICP Malta International School with Hon. Clayton Bartolo, Minister for Tourism of Malta. The Permanent Secretary at the Ministry for Tourism, Mr Gatt and the President of SICP Malta International School, Mr Zhang Yang also attended the event.

Ambassador Yu said in his speech that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malta 51 years ago, the bilateral ties have always been full of vitality and vitality. The two sides have achieved fruitful cooperation results in education, tourism and other fields, bringing benefits to the two peoples. The establishment of the school will bring more diversified educational resources to the students, and open a new window for exchanges in education and tourism between China and Malta.

Minister Bartolo said that this is a historic cooperation agreement which will promote education exchanges between SICP and ITS and benefit the students.
