On January 13, Mr Peng Yijun, Charge d'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Malta, visited the Mediterranean  Academy of Diplomatic Studies, a well-known think tank in Malta, and met with President Emeritus Dr George Vella, the Chairperson of the Board of the Academy, and Prof. Stephen Calleya, the Director of the Academy.

Both sides spoke highly of the China-Malta relations and commended the fruitful cooperation in young diplomat training between the two sides. They look forward to expanding cooperation in fields like academic research, and scholar and student exchanges so as to promote the development of bilateral relations.
